See this man ride deep beneath the earth Marcelo Gutiérrez goes subterranean as he explores a spectacular Colombian salt mine.
Downhill racer Marcelo Gutiérrez has gone underground in his preparation for the new UCI MTB World Cup season back in his native Colombia.
Gutiérrez took to Zipaquirá, a town close to the capital Bogotá, to ride the trails around the hills there and found a line that took him into one of the below-ground salt mines for which the area is known. This spectacular line eventually finished at a unique underground cathedral which has been carved into the salt mine interior deep beneath the hills.
